We must admit that we had a challenging yet exciting year in 2021 – our team has achieved several milestones and we have been able to significantly expand and progress.
After almost 2 years of existence, our efforts and strong commitment have been recognized by the iGaming industry on several occasions, which provides us with additional motivation to continue with the exceptional work and strive for perfection.
Most important of all, we’d like to express our gratitude to our affiliates for being such an important part of our expansion in 2021.
Before we jump further into 2022, let’s take a look back at the most memorable moments of the previous year and see what we accomplished.
January
We started 2021 in style – with a super special kick-off competition and chance to win iPhone 12. Fun, right?
March
Our brand Jackie Jackpot got a completely new look, including new colors and a new logo. We introduced Jackie, the lucky hipster character representing Jackie Jackpot, and he immediately won everyone’s hearts.
We enjoy making our Affiliates happy and motivated, so we decided to organize another race called a Spring Race and award iPad Mini and AirPods to the top two performers.
May
Our team grew to 4 power girls. Your favourite Account Managers who you want to do business with.
We continued to engage our partners in a variety of events to maintain their competitive spirit. This month the final prize was hidden in our May Madness Race: a fifth-generation PlayStation console. Who wouldn’t want something like that?
Our representative attended the Affiliate Grand Slam 2021 in Dubai. That event brought together about three thousand affiliates, lead generation specialists, consultants and it was a perfect chance for networking and promoting our brands.
June
We completed the acquisition of the award-winning TradaCasino, TradaSpiele & ApuestaMos, previously managed by Trada Affiliates.
With this investment, we expanded our portfolio, created new partnership opportunities and maximized the potential for our existing collaborations.
July
Due to the pandemic’s travel restrictions, we decided to take over Summer 2021 and encouraged our partners to join us in our Summer Race. In July, we gave a trip voucher gift to the best performing Affiliate Partner.
Our casino brands Apuestamos and Trada Casino got more powerful new looks. The new slick and modern design identities with vibrant colors and recognizable visual elements made the gaming experience so much better.
Our team received its first nomination! iGB Affiliate Awards shortlisted OMG Affiliates in the Rising Star Category! We were overjoyed and humbled to be recognized by such a prestigious iGaming association.
August
The OMG Affiliates started to offer what they know best – advertising services to partners that need an extra helping hand. Our team got the opportunity to be the one & only advertiser to promote PLAYOUWIN, a new state-of-the-art online casino brand. As soon as Playouwin went live, it immediately scored great conversion rates and even greater value.
September
Even though we found a perfect way to get along with the year-long challenges that the pandemic has brought, we really missed seeing and working with each other face-to face. A great kick-off trip gathered us all in Copenhagen for a perfect sunny week. The trip was focused mainly on growth and exploring the country of hygge. We really enjoyed it!
Our newest casino brand MillionPot got live. It was a perfect addition to our portfolio that offered a million ways to enjoy the igaming adventure.
Our website got a new cooler look in order to ensure the best online experience for our partners across all devices. The new design reflects our team’s passion and ambition while also emphasizing the services we deliver to our partners. New features were implemented that immediately improved the functionality of one of our main communication channels. The feedback was great!
We had our team representative at iGB Affiliate Amsterdam having a catch-up with our iGaming peers. It was a perfect opportunity to reconnect, discuss and share the latest developments and trends in the iGaming industry.
October
We celebrated OMG’s 2nd Anniversary knowing that we are becoming a part of the top affiliate programs in the iGaming industry. Back in 2019, we started working on onboarding our first partners, working on the growth of the affiliate program. Today we have more than 1000 happy affiliates with whom we’ve grown together.
OhMySpins was another brand we signed an exclusive advertising agreement with. The brand offers more than a thousand slot games and competitive odds for sports betting.
We pulled a few tricks up our sleeves and rebranded Winners Magic too.
The OMG Affiliates affiliate program has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Affiliate Rising star category at the annual EGR Operator Awards 2021. This category was introduced for the very first time, and we got shortlisted straight away.
November
We’ve had a blast at Sigma Malta 2021. We got the chance to meet in person with some of our affiliates, and also establish new partnerships that added great value to our business.
We have completed our Acquisition of AffiliSearch – The European Gambling Affiliate Network, which took us one step closer to becoming one of the industry leaders in the iGaming market.
We have organized a November Race that was really rewarding and fun for our Affiliates. The new iPhone 13 was the grand prize we had reserved for the first affiliate that reached the desired goal.
Our brand Lucky Thrillz got a new look with luxury style that ensured a completely new gaming experience.
December
For the first time of its establishment, OMG Affiliates was shortlisted as a Rising Star at the EGR Nordics Awards 2022! Few days later, our team was nominated by iGB Affiliate Awards 2022 in two categories: Rising Star and Best Affiliate Program.
This adds up to a total of 5 nominations in 2021 and it gives us great pleasure, but at the same time responsibility to continue to give the best service to our affiliates.
We wrapped up 2021 with the acquisition of Greenplay Casino as the third big investment in 2021. We are sure that this brand will provide another dimension of growth for all parties.
At the end of the year, the numbers say it all. We onboarded more than 700 new affiliates and scored more than double FTDs than the previous year, showing that we are a partner everyone wants to work with.
